HEAD: Laser beam positioning not stable yet

</AppliesTo>
<ServiceInformation>
<DescriptionText><text>
An attempt to turn on the laser beam (ie with "laser on") before the beam
positioning has stablized will cause this error. In this case simply try
again. It may be necessary to initially start the laser with "laser on", "head
bp on" initially if the stored thermal rod hold current is way off for some
reason.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
If problem persists and you have thermal head version greater than 1.56 it is
easily possible to diagnose the exact problem by using the internal data
collection capabilities (see release notes or head diag0 information). Also
with 1.56 the command "laser test" may diagnose the problem.

<OperatorAction>
<DescriptionText><text>
Cancel current job and try again. If the problem persists, call service
immediately.
</text></DescriptionText>
</OperatorAction>
<Cause>
Beam pointing is too far off to start the laser within the laser on timeout.
In this case trying again will likely fix the problem.
If the beam positioning servo is not working properly, the laser will
never be able to be turned on successfully.
</Cause>
